Shopping: Finding Products and Adding Items to Your Cart

Online shopping with Helping Hands is quick and easy. Simply log in, choose your products and then checkout. Your fresh foods will then be delivered to your door.

1. How do I start shopping?

There are 5 ways to start adding products to your shopping cart:

1. By Category. Both at the top of the page and on the left-hand side of the screen are the categories of products available, namely eggs, fruit, herbs, meat, nuts, and vegetables. Click on whichever category you want to browse and then start ordering the items you like from the list.

2. Browse all products. Click the "All Products" button at the bottom of the Categories box on the left-hand side of the screen. This will pull up all available products in alphabetical order.

3. Search for a product one by one. Enter a product name in the search box located at the right hand of the screen. Select "Search". A product list will display a list of products.

4. Quick Re-order . Once you have logged in, a Quick Re-order list will appear on the top ride-hand side of the main page, on which you can click items you previously ordered to add to your cart.

5. Bestsellers. the bottom right hand side of the screen lists the most popular products of the week. Simply click on an item of interest to view and order it

2. What products are available to buy?

Shopping online with Helping Hands means you can purchase just about anything that you can normally find at the fresh foods section of the Klong Toey market but get it delivered to your front door. The range includes a large selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs, meat, poultry, seafood and eggs. If you don’t see something you are looking for on our items list, please contact us to inquire about availability at the market or make a note in the comments section of your next order.

3. How do I add items to my cart?

Once you have decided on an item to add to your cart, simply enter the number of items in the box adjacent to the product photo. Then click on the "add selected products to cart" button that appears at the top and bottom of products lists.

4. Can I order items in half units?

No, 1 is the minimum order amount available. If you would like to recommend smaller units for any of our products, please contact us.

5. How do I add to & amend my shopping cart?

Amending the amount of items is easy using your shopping cart.

0. Click "shopping cart" link either at the top of the screen next to my account or on the right side of the screen.

1. A list of the products you've ordered will be displayed. This list is sorted by the order in which it was added to your cart.

2. Change the quantity of the product you want to amend. To add more (for example to increase order from 1 carrot to 2), simply click on the quantity (qty.) and update the amount. Be sure to press the refresh button next to the quantity to calculate your new total before moving on.

3. To delete an item from your cart, either change the quantity to 0 and click refresh or just click on the trash can at the end of the row. Then checkout or continue shopping.

6. Can I save my order and complete it lt later?

Yes, this is a great way to save time. We will save the items you've placed in your cart so you don't have to finish your order in one sitting.

  • Click the "Log out" link from the top right hand corner of screen to save your order and exit the store.
  • You will see the message "Thank you. You have been logged off your account."
  • To resume shopping and place an order, log in to Helping Hands again. Your cart will display the items you previously selected.

    7. How do I get what I want if my first choice is not available?

    Your Personal Shopper hand picks your order ahead of your delivery. Due to seasonal changes and differences in stock at the market, from time to time not all the products you have ordered may be available when your order is picked. If you would like the shoppers to pick a substitute product in the event that your first choice is not available (for example regular grapes if seedless grapes are not available), you can indicate that in the comments section when you check out. Helping Hands will not substitute products unless you specifically request this.

    8. How do I find or locate a product?

    9. How do I order from my last or previous orders?

    We do not currently have the capability to copy previous orders, but you can see some items you previously ordered in the Quick Re-order section-- once you have logged in, a Quick Re-order list will appear on the top right-hand side of the main page, on which you can click items you previously ordered to add to your cart.

    10. Ordering random weight products

    Some fresh produce and meat items are sold by the piece. Where random weight items are included in the order, though an estimated amount is listed in the catalog, we will calculate an actual price for these goods after they are weighed. This price will appear on your Tax Invoice.

    11. How do I find specials?

    As seasons change, Helping Hands will post availability of new produce and special prices on the home page. If you have a mobile phone number listed in your acount, you may also receive SMS messages from Helping Hands alerting you to specials.
